Fourth of July is Thursday, but celebrations are happening all week! We’ve rounded up everything from fireworks to brunch just for you! Happy Birthday America!

Celebrate America’s Independence at Harborfest! From June 28 through July 4, enjoy family fun events like boat tours, scavenger hunts, walking tours food, fun and more. Over 200 events are happening in the city and on the harbor. Check out event updates on the Harborfest Facebook Page, on Twitter, or follow the conversation using #BostonHarborfest.

Turn it around

The USS Constitution will be making its annual turnaround on July 4th at noon! For ultimate viewing of Old Ironsides, Castle Island is the place to be between 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. While you’re out there you might as well get some lunch or an ice cream at Sullivan’s! The turnaround will commemorate the 243rd anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Happy Birthday America!

Baby You're a Firework

On Tuesday, July 2, head to the Seaport District to see fireworks along the water. Enjoy the Parade of Lights, an elegant promenade of festively-lit boats of all shapes and sizes on Boston Harbor at 8:45 p.m. followed by Harborfest fireworks launching at approximately 9:30 p.m. Spots to watch – the Barking CrabEnvoy’s Outlook rooftop or Cisco Brewers Pop Up. For a romantic pick – head to Mastro’s Ocean Club. With 180 degree views of the Boston Harbor and 60 seats on the water-front patio, Mastro’s has a front seat to the festivities as they enjoy the famous steaks, two-foot-tall seafood tower, popular lobster mashed potatoes, and the rich melt-in-your-mouth Signature Warm Butter Cake. Reservations can be made online here or by calling 617.530.1925.

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular

At 8 p.m. on July 4, the annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will take place along the Esplanade, with a concert performance at the Hatch Shell. Musical guests will feature Queen Latifah, Amanda Mena of America’s Got Talent, and The Texas Tenors. Fireworks display will start at 10:30 p.m. Heading to Esplanade?  Read this first!

You can see the fireworks from the Rose Kennedy Greenway – well, there will be a live simulcast of the Hatch Shell festivities! But less people and traffic right? Get the details here!
