2020 Hopeful Democrats Busy in NH This July Fourth

Six presidential candidates on the campaign trail in the Granite State Thursday

Many Americans are lucky enough to have the Fourth of July off from work. Several presidential hopefuls are not among them.

Six Democrats aiming to take on President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election are slated to spend their holiday in New Hampshire.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. and Sen. Kirsten Gillabrand, D-N.Y. will join Haiwaii Rep. Tusli Gabbard at a parade in Amherst, New Hampshire. Gabbard has campaigned heavily in the state so far, as several billboard advertisements have popped up in the White Mountains.

The three will be joined by former Maryland representative John Delaney and former Massachusetts governor Bill Weld.

All of the candidates will also make stops at parades in Merrimack and Laconia. Delaney is scheuled to make an appearance at the Manchester Fourth of July Barbecue as well.

The candidates are slated to be in the state through at least Saturday, according to the Associated Press.
