It will be rather cool overnight Saturday, with low humidity and low temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to the low 60s.
Humidity builds during the day on Sunday. Skies will be sunny, temperatures will reach the mid 80s and the heat index may approach 90° during the afternoon.
Monday through Wednesday will be hot and humid. Temperatures will reach the 90s and dew points will be in the 70s – that combination will send the heat index above 100°. We are expecting a heat wave for many towns in New England.
On Thursday, a cold front will move through. A shower or thunderstorms is possible. Temperatures and humidity will drop Friday and Saturday. High temperatures will stay in the mid 70s. The early autumn feel will only last a couple of days. Temperatures will return to the low 80s for the second half of the holiday weekend.
The following week appears to be warm and unsettled. Temperatures will stay in the 80s, humidity will be high and showers and thunderstorms will be around. Stay tuned!
