A dozen protesters were arrested Thursday evening at an Amazon office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The group of marchers, organized by "Never Again Action: Jews Against ICE," began in Boston, causing traffic problems in the city.
"There are people dying in United States government custody," one protester said. "A little bit of disruption to our evening commute is how we get everyone's attention."
The march started at the Boston Holocaust Memorial. A representative from the group initially told NBC10 Boston it was heading for the Suffolk County House of Correction. But the protesters ended up at an Amazon Hub Locker + location and office building in Cambridge, where they stayed in the lobby for nearly two hours.
Protesters said they were rallying against the online retailer's ICE contracts.
"We're asking them to end their contract with ICE and stop being complicit in the dehumanization of immigrants in this country," said a participant in the protest.
Cambridge Police and MIT Police moved into the office to clear the protesters out.

Some of the protesters were arrested and charged with trespassing.
"Despite several requests to peacefully escort protestors outside the Amazon building at 101 Main Street, 12 people have been arrested on trespassing charges," Cambridge Police tweeted, adding that a small crowd remained outside the building.
After posting bail, the people arrested are expected in court Friday.
NBC10 Boston reached out to Amazon for comment, but has not heard back.
