JetBlue Flight Returns to Boston After Reports of Fumes

A JetBlue flight returned to Logan Airport in Boston after reports of odor and fumes on Saturday.

According to information from the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), Flight 1095 was heading from Boston to Punta Cuna in the Dominican Republic at 6:45 p.m. when it turned around and landed safely. 

Two people complained of discomfort and were checked out at the scene. There were no reports of anyone transported by EMS.

"Shortly after departure from Boston, the crew onboard JetBlue Flight 1095 to Punta Cana reported an unusual odor," said Sharon Jones, a spokeswoman for JetBlue in a statement. "The crew elected to return to Boston and was met by medical personnel." The aircraft is being inspected, according to JetBlue.
