June-Like Weather on Horizon With Some Spot Showers Ahead

It’s been a soggy start to the work week, but we're slowly starting to transition back to a more June-like pattern.

Some sunshine will break out today, but clouds will not entirely clear. In fact, we'll still have a few spot showers or sprinkles from time to time. Highs will still be a bit cool for this time of year, only reaching the 60s in many spots. Well inland some towns will approach 70.

Thursday will bring a blend of clouds and sunshine, but once more there may be a quick sprinkle or shower, especially north and west of Boston. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s.

Friday finally brings more sun for more of us, and as a result, warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80!

This weekend turns interesting. Many places will be mainly dry, especially in northern New England, with highs in the 70s on Saturday and 60s and 70s Sunday.

There is, however, a batch of rain that will dive towards New England Saturday and Saturday night. For now, it looks like that rain will scrape by Connecticut, Rhode Island, and areas south of Boston.

Most of that rain will likely get out in time for Sunday, leaving us with gradually improving conditions, but we’ll have to watch the timing and track of that closely.

Next week looks seasonable with highs in the 70s and 80s.
