Firefighters battled a large blaze at the former Hawthorne Country Club in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, on Sunday afternoon.
“As a result of this active structure fire at the former Hawthorne Country Club, southbound traffic on Tucker Road is being detoured up Allen Street,” Dartmouth police said in a Facebook post.
Officials told WJAR that the building, located on Tucker Road, was abandoned and is a total loss.
