Lexington Students Sent Home Following Threat

High school students in Lexington, Massachusetts were sent home early Thursday because of a "threat specific to the high school."

Dr. Kelly Chase, Assistant Superintendent for Lexington Public Schools called parents today telling them about the threat. However, she told parents that they did not have any evidence for the threat to be credible and that the students were dismissed to help aid the investigation. Students were sent home at 12:15pm.

The early dismissal at the high school had an impact of the bus dismissal at the elementary schools.
