Sunny Today But Much Cooler

Today will be the pick of the weekend. We’re expecting sunny skies and it will be cooler and with low dew points. Clouds will begin to increase overnight Sunday.

With a one and a half in rainfall deficit, May was a dry. Monday will begin a soggy stretch. Rain will begin Monday morning and continue on and off through Wednesday morning. When you tally up the rain over 3 days, parts of New England may see up to 2 inches of rain.

By Wednesday afternoon, we’re expecting a gradual drying trend. It will be unseasonably cool with temperatures in the 50s most afternoons. Even Wednesday as the rain ends, it will be cool.

The week will end with some sunshine and warmer weather. Temperatures will range from the high 60s on Thursday to the mid 70s on Friday. Nice weather should linger into the weekend. Monday and Tuesday of the following week look mild, but unsettled.
