A man died from his injuries sustained in a home invasion in Lowell, Massachusetts, overnight Thursday, according to authorities.
The Middlesex district attorney's office said the home invasion happened at a residence on Walker Street between Broadway and Waugh Street.
The victim, only identified as an adult male, was found by another person who lives at the home when the latter individual returned home during the early morning hours, according to the DA.
The victim was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he died.
A preliminary investigation suggests that a home invasion took place.
No arrests have been made in connection with the case.
The investigation is ongoing.
