Maine Boy Who Wore Hot Dog Costume in ID Gets Visit From Wienermobile

Fourth grader Jake Arsenault received a special visit from the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile after his student ID of him wearing a hot dog costume went viral

A Maine fourth-grader whose student ID shows him wearing a hog dog costume got a surprise visit Monday from a famous look-alike: the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile

Nine-year-old Jake Arsenault, his family and two friends were picked up in Biddleford by the 27-foot hot dog on wheels and taken for a ride to a local movie theater.

Representatives from the hot dog company sent one of their "Oscar Mayer Hotdoggers" after seeing the picture of Arsenault in his 2019-2020 ID for Biddleford Intermediate School.

Jake Arsenault's dad, Craig Arsenault, had said on Facebook that he and his wife dared Jake to wear the costume for the picture. To their surprise, school officials relished the costume, and allowed him to wear it.

"The school let him do it, and I couldn't be happier," Craig Arsenault wrote on Facebook at the time.
