A Massachusetts man has died in a three-car crash near the Connecticut state line that injured three others.
Massachusetts State Police say 26-year-old Yerly Jared Santizo Morales, of Northampton, was heading north on Route 91 at around 2 a.m. on Saturday when he lost control of his car and crashed into the center median near Springfield. He died at the scene.
Police say two people who tried to help Morales were then struck by another car.

Authorities say the 23-year-old Westfield woman and her passenger, a 25 year-old Northampton man, were taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with undisclosed injuries.
The 44-year-old Westfield man who was driving the car that struck them also sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Police say the crashes remain under investigation.
