A New Hampshire man has been accused of seriously injuring a 3-month-old boy who was found to have signs of trauma, including bleeding in the brain.
Police in Manchester say 25-year-old Michael Roberson is charged with first-degree assault. He was scheduled to be arraigned Friday; it wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer. A phone number couldn't be found for Roberson.
Police said Roberson was caring for the baby on June 30. He called 911 after the boy had a seizure. The baby was taken to a hospital.
Police said through interviews and reviewing medical records, they determined the injuries were not the result of an accident. They said the baby is now in the care of his family.
