2 Men Arrested After Boston Police Find Loaded Gun

Two men are facing several charges after Boston police found a loaded gun during a traffic stop on Saturday.

According to police, officers stopped a car shortly after 3p.m. near Fessenden Street in Mattapan due to a revoked registration. 

The driver of the car, Jelani Tinnis-Edwards, 21, of Mattapan, allegedly tried to run out of the car before he was detained by police. Police say Tinnis-Edwards' driver's license was suspended. 

The passenger in car, Brajon Brown, 20, of Mattapan, was also arrested after police found a loaded gun in the backseat. 

Both men face on weapons related charges. Tinnis-Edwards also faces a charge of driving with a suspended license. They are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on Monday.
