Man Clocked Driving 108 MPH, Arrested for Drunken Driving: Police

A man who police say was driving 108 mph on a New Hampshire highway has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.

New Hampshire State Police said Thomas Young, 39, of Epsom was pulled over for speeding on Interstate 93 in Hooksett at around 2:20 a.m. Thursday.

The speed limit on the highway was 65 mph. 

Police arrested Young after an investigation allegedly found the man was driving under the influence. Authorities said upon further investigation, Young was allegedly found to be in possession of drugs, suspected to be cocaine.

Young was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence and possession of a controlled drug. He is expected to be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court. It was not clear whether he had an attorney.
