A teenager was killed and a woman was critically injured in a crash Friday night in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Police say officers were called to a report of a single car crash with ejections around 10:35 p.m. in the area of Gulf Road and Smith Neck Road.

Responding officers found two people unresponsive in the roadway and a heavily damaged Honda Accord, police said.
Both victims were taken to St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, where the male was pronounced dead. He has been identified as 18-year-old Jacob Pothier, of New Bedford.

The woman, identified as 44-year-old Kathleen Martins, of Dartmouth, sustained life-threatening injuries, and she remains in guarded condition, police said.
The crash currently remains under investigation. There was no immediate word on a possible cause.
