Man Shot in Roxbury Dies From Injuries

The victim was shot in broad daylight in the area of 186 Northampton St. Monday

A man who was shot Monday afternoon in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood has died from his injuries.

Police responded to a report of shots in the area of 186 Northampton St. at 12:35 p.m. where officers found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died.

After the shooting, a large police presence could be seen in the area including swat team members going door-to-door carrying rifles.
