Man Indicted on Murder Charge in Case of Body Burned in Worcester Cemetery

A Massachusetts man has been indicted in the death of a woman whose body was found in the trunk of her burning car in a Worcester cemetery last year.

A grand jury handed up an indictment Monday charging Steven Foley, 57, of Northborough, with murder in the death of Cynthia Webb.

The 59-year-old's body was discovered in the trunk of a burning Buick LeSabre in Hope Cemetery on the morning of Dec. 12, 2017. A medical examiner ruled Webb's death as a homicide by assault.

The indictment of Foley moves his case to Worcester Superior Court where he will be arraigned at a future date. He is currently being held without bail.

It's unclear if Foley has an attorney.
