Man Killed in Crash at Vermont's Jay Peak Ski Resort

A man was killed at the Jay Peak ski resort in Jay, Vermont Sunday afternoon, according to Vermont State Police.

Officials say that Bruce Charron, 68, of West Montreal, Quebec, lost a ski before crashing into trees on the edge of a trail around 12:45 p.m. Emergency responders tended to the man and Jay Peak Ski Patrol helped remove Charron from the scene but he was later pronounced dead at the resort, police say.

The incident remains under investigation and Vermont State Police are asking anyone with information about the case to call them at 802-334-8881.
