Police in Massachusetts are searching for a man wanted in connection with an armed home invasion and stabbing in Lowell early Friday morning.
Officers responded to 26 Manchester St. at about 4:50 a.m. where they discovered a 25-year-old man who had been stabbed several times.
Authorities said the victim and his girlfriend had been asleep when they heard a noise and were then confronted by the suspect.
The victims told police the suspect was Johnny He, 28, of Lowell. He is the ex-boyfriend of the victim's current girlfriend, police said.
Authorities said He stabbed the victim several times and then fled the scene.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police said He gained access to the home by pushing an A/C unit out of a window.

Another home invasion took place Friday in Lowell at about 4:41 a.m. on 70 Fifth Ave. Police said in that incident, two elderly victims told police they were woken up by two men demanding money before they were allegedly assaulted. Both victims suffered visible minor injuries and were hospitalized.
It's unclear if the two incidents are related.
