Police in Manchester, New Hampshire said Tuesday they had arrested two men for selling an illicit drug called "spice" in local parks.
Manchester police said it arrested William Gamble, 51, on August 19 and Nicholas Crawford, 25 on Monday for allegedly selling spice, a form of synthetic marijuana that often comes in a mixture of herbs and spices.
Police said they learned of Gamble's alleged illicit activities during an investigation into the sale of spice at Veterans and Victory parks. Undercover officers purchased spice from Gamble, police said, and he was arrested after the items were sent to a lab for testing.
Gamble was arrested in Veterans Park. He has been charged with sale of a controlled drug.
Crawford, meanwhile, was arrested after a length investigation, police said.
Crawford allegedly attempted to fight with police during his arrest at Veterans Park, police said. Authorities allegedly recovered 16.2 grams of spice in his backpacks.
Crawford was charged with sale of a controlled drug and resisting arrest.
