A man was arrested when several hundred black-market marijuana edibles, some of which look like other candies, were seized in Peabody, Massachusetts, police said Monday.
Gary Cioffi was arrested after authorities seized "several hundred thousand of dollars' worth of illegal marijuana products," Peabody police said in a statement.
Pictures of the seized products show dozens upon dozens of edible marijuana snacks, including marijuana-infused Wonka chocolate bars and Nerds Rope candy and "Wicked Krispies," whose branding resembles Rice Krispies.
Authorities thanked neighbors for their "cooperation in this matter."
The Romanian government has offered Moldova a loan of 60 million euros ($65 million) to prevent economic collapse in the impoverished ex-Soviet republic.
But Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos said Tuesday that Moldova will have to fight corruption and make other reforms if it is to get the money.
