A Massachusetts man has been sentenced in New Hampshire to 17 years in federal prison for producing child pornography.
Court documents say 47-year-old Matthew Adey, of Methuen, Massachusetts, met a 14-year-old boy in an online chat group in February and requested a photo of the teen engaging in sexually explicit conduct, which was sent. The two continued to communicate.
The documents say in March, Adey traveled to the teen's home in New Hampshire and had sex with him.
A forensic analysis of Adey's computers indicated that he possessed various images and videos containing additional child pornography.
Adey, who pleaded guilty, will be on supervised release for 10 years following his release from prison.
