MBTA's Green Line Back to Normal After Power Problem

Service was back to normal on the MBTA's Green Line after a power problem halted service between two stations late Wednesday.

The MBTA said at 10:10 p.m. that a downed overhead wire at North Station halted service between Government Center and Lechmere. Shuttle buses were deployed to transport commuters as crews worked to fix the problem.

The delays were the latest headache for T passengers.

On Monday, service was shut down on parts of the Orange Line after an incident overnight that left a worker injured. The MBTA said one worker suffered a minor injury during an "accident involving two pieces of construction equipment."
