Medford Police Searching for Missing UMass Boston Student

Authorities in Massachusetts are asking for the public's help with finding a UMass Boston student who hasn't been seen or heard from since Sunday.

Matthew B. Rudolph, 23, of Medford may be feeling depressed after some recent life changes, according to police, and was last seen and/or contacted via social media on Sunday evening.

Police say his family and friends are worried for his well-being because it's out of character for him to not reach out or reply.

Rudolph recently moved into an apartment in Medford; however, he reportedly told a friend he bought a tent and was planning to camp in the Middlesex Fells Reservation, which is in the Medford, Winchester and Stoneham area.
