Man Arrested After Crash on Route 2

A Massachusetts man was arrested Thursday after police say he caused a crash with two other vehicles on Route 2 in Lincoln.

State police say they received a report of a suspicious person driving on I-190. When a trooper tried to pull him over, police say he took off, heading east on Route 2. He got to Concord, where police say he crossed over onto the westbound side of the highway and they stopped chasing him.

The driver, identified as 32-year-old Ethan Johnson of Paxton, crashed in Lincoln. He was taken to Lahey Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers of the two other vehicles also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Emerson Hospital.

Johnson was charged with failure to stop for police.
