Mark your calendars, folks. We know when Kyrie Irving (in theory) will return to Boston.
The Brooklyn Nets' first road game against the Celtics will be on Nov. 27, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Friday.
Sources: Notable superstar return games on 2019-20 NBA schedule:
Clippers' Kawhi Leonard at Toronto: Dec. 11
Lakers‘ Anthony Davis at New Orleans: Nov. 27
Nets‘ Kyrie Irving at Boston: Nov. 27
Rockets' Russell Westbrook at Oklahoma City: Jan. 9. — Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) August 2, 2019
Irving signed a four-year, $141 million contract with the Nets during the first few hours of free agency, teaming up with Kevin Durant after a tumultuous final season with the Celtics. Durant is set to miss the entire 2019-20 season, and while Irving should be in attendance, he did sit out two of Boston's three games against his old former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, while with the C's.
