The New England Confectionery Company (NECCO) headquarters in Revere, Massachusetts, has been sold for $54.6 million.
Developers Atlantic Management and VMD Companies closed on the 51.2-acre headquarters on April 28, according to the Revere Journal.
NECCO will continue to lease the headquarters through Aug. 31, 2018.
The developers will meet with the city of Revere to discuss development plans.
The Revere Journal reports NECCO moved to Revere from Cambridge in 2003.
