A new app that's being called the "Waze for Nightlife" gives Boston residents info on crowd sizes and guy-girl ratios at local bars.
According to BostInno, Akross uses crowdsourced information to give users an idea of what various hot spots look like on any given night. It also provides information about exclusive events and even house parties.
There's also a social aspect that allows users to chat with other users at the same location.
