A New York man has been sentenced by a federal judge in Massachusetts to six years in prison for child pornography.
Ethan Fordley, of Albany, received nude images from a Massachusetts girl who was 13 at the time. According to court documents, an FBI agent said the 25-year-old man admitted to both contact with the girl and obtaining pornographic material from other minors at the time of his arrest.
U.S. District Court Judge Timothy S. Hillman sentenced Fordley to five years of supervised release after his sentence. He was also ordered to undergo drug and sex-offender treatment.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark J. Grady read an impact statement from the girl and her family, saying they will carry the offense for the rest of their lives.
