NH Man Arrested After Naked Run Around Manchester Hospital

A man's naked run around a hospital and nearby yards resulted in his arrest in New Hampshire this weekend.

Joseph Gawron, 20, had no clothes on and was yelling when he was arrested early Saturday morning in the area of Auburn and Cypress streets in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to city polie. Officers on the scene at Elliot Hospital described him as being in a state of panic and sweating profusely.

Upon arrival, officers ordered Gawron to stop moving. Once he refused, Gawron was warned that officers would use a Taser on him, police said.

When Gawron failed to comply, officers used one Taser that didn't take effect — Gawron continued to struggle, they said. Another officer used a second Taser and the group was able to handcuff Gawron, police said, but at the hospital he allegedly kicked and spit on an officer.

Gawron is charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, loitering and indecent exposure.

It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
