Apartment Fire in Norton Displaces at Least Two Dozen Residents

An early morning fire at an apartment building in Norton, Massachusetts, has displaced at least two dozen people, according to the Sun Chronicle.

The fire broke out at the Norton Glen Apartments on Norton Glen Road just after 7 a.m. Friday and quickly reached 3-alarms.

The Sun Chronicle reported all the residents in the two and a half story structure safely escaped and no injuries were reported.

The paper reported that the fire destroyed two middle apartments of the six-unit building.

The American Red Cross was called in to assist the residents.

The exact cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
