Problems encountered during construction by Columbia Gas has led to gas service being suspended in a neighborhood in Franklin, Massachusetts.
Residents of Scholfield Drive and Richard Lane will be affected by the shutdown, which is expected to last through the night. Crews will be going door to door with a Franklin Police officer, representative from Columbia Gas and a locksmith, as they will need to enter each residence to suspend gas service.
Franklin Police will alert residents if the issue is resolved sooner than expected.
