Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Sunday afternoon in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood.
The initial call came in around 2:30 p.m. for a person stabbed on Colorado Street. The extent of the victim's injuries was not immediately known, but police later said the victim had died from his injuries.

Boston police said the investigation is "active and ongoing."
