It looks like a new Japanese restaurant will be replacing another Japanese spot in Cambridge.
According to a license commission hearing agenda page within the city's website, a new place called "One" is planning to open on Mass. Ave., with the address indicating that it is moving into the Super Fusion space just south of Porter Square, and one of our sources (Tom Meek) posted a picture on Facebook showing that there is a sign in the window of the space saying that One Ramen & Sushi is coming soon. (A check on the Super Fusion website shows a note saying that it is "closed for remodeling" and that the new spot will open in March.) Super Fusion first opened in the fall of 2010, taking over the space where Seoul Food had once been.
The address for this upcoming Japanese restaurant near Porter Square is: One Ramen & Sushi, 1759 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA,02140.
