Patriots' James White Reacts to Workout No-Shows Brady and Gronkowski

New England Patriots running back James White offered his take on Tom Brady's and Rob Gronkowski's absences from this week's voluntary team workouts during Thursday's media availability.

"Those guys will be fine. Whatever decision they make, that's their decision," White said.

He made it clear that it's not his position to comment on the star players' absences from the workouts, but did say he has trust in Brady's decision.

"He's a guy that's had a lot of success in this league and he knows what he's doing," White said.

He was also asked the effect Brady and Gronkowski not being at the workouts has on the "buy-in" of those players who are in attendance.

"The guys that are here, we're going to work together and like I said, build that bond, work hard," White said.

Brady recently returned from a business trip in Qatar and there were reports on Wednesday that he is eyeing a new contract.

As for Gronkowski, the off-season has been filled with speculation about his future with the Patriots stemming from his post-Super Bowl comment.

"I'm definitely going to look at my future, for sure," he said after the loss. "I'll sit down in the next couple of weeks and see where I'm at."
