A Pawtucket, Rhode Island, man has been arrested after he reportedly sexually assaulted a teenager.
According to the Providence Journal, Michael Hayworth, 60, of Pawtucket, was arrested Sunday after a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in a wooded area off of the Ten Mile River Greenway bike path around 8 p.m. Friday.
The teenager was able to provide a description of the suspect. Police released the description on Saturday and subsequently received a tip about the location of the suspect, the Providence Journal reported.
Hayworth is charged with first degree sexual assault and kidnapping.
He will appear before a justice of the peace to be arraigned. It is unclear if he has an attorney.
