A man was critically injured after being hit by a van Thursday morning in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Police said the 36-year-old man, a pedestrian, was found unconscious but breathing on Southern Artery and taken to Boston Medical Center in critical condition.
As a result of the incident, southbound lanes of Southern Artery were temporarily closed at McGrath Highway. As of 7:20 a.m., the lanes were reopened.
Details on what led up to the crash were not immediately clear. The driver of the van remained at the scene.
