A pedestrian was hit by a car Tuesday in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
Police confirm the victim was hit at the intersection of South Huntington Avenue and Perkins Street. The driver stayed on the scene after the crash, which occurred near MSPCA Angell.
The pedestrian was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital and is expected to survive.
The crash is under investigation.
