One person has been hit by a car in Brookline, Massachusetts, and taken to a local hospital.
According to the Boston Globe, a pedestrian was struck in Brookline's Cleveland Circle Sunday afternoon.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital where the person underwent surgery, the Globe reported.
The incident occurred at 1870 Beacon Street Sunday at 12:41 p.m.
The accident remains under investigation.
