A Plymouth North High School teacher was suspended after students reported to a staff member that he made inappropriate remarks about a gun that he owns.
Plymouth Public Schools Superintendent Gary Maestas said in a statement that the "Plymouth Police were promptly notified and investigated the situation."
Maestas confirmed that the teacher was removed from the class and immediately placed on administrative leave.
The teacher's employment status is currently under review.
