Police: 12-Year-Old Wrote Threat on Randolph Middle School Wall

Police arrested a 12-year-old girl Thursday after she allegedly wrote a threatening note on a middle school wall in Randolph, Massachusetts.

Officers responded around 2 p.m. to Randolph Middle School, where a message threatening violence had been reported. After an investigation, police identified the child who was allegedly responsible and arrested her.

Because of her age, the suspect's identity will not be released. She was released Thursday to her mother.

Police found that the threat wasn't credible and students were dismissed from school.
