Police: 2, Including Boy, Injured in Brockton Paintball Shootings

Two people, including a child, are injured after being shot in the eye with paintballs Monday in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Police confirm a 12-year-old boy and a 43-year-old man were injured after being shot in separate locations.

The shootings happened minutes apart, Brockton Police said Tuesday. One of them took place on Ford Street and the other near the intersection of North Warren Avenue and Lourcraft Avenue.

During the Ford Street shooting, another male victim said he was hit in the arm. A woman was also hit with a paintball around 11 a.m. on Summer Street, but was not injured, according to police.

The child was taken to South Shore Hospital while the adult was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.

Authorities are searching for suspects. A victim said a dark sedan pulled up and a person fired through the window.
