Man Beaten, 3 Arrested in ‘Possible Drug Meet Up' in Wareham

One man allegedly held a knife to the victim's throat and ripped his necklace off him, and all three men involved allegedly kicked and punched him

Three men were arrested on charges of armed robbery and assault and battery on Cape Cod early Saturday morning after a man was beaten in what police said was possibly drug-related activity.

Officers with the Sandwich Police Department saw people running from two cars parked on Tarragon Drive toward a home when the officers arrived at 12:35 a.m., according to a Sandwich police news release.

The man who was beaten told officers that three men in one of the vehicles jumped him, police said. One man allegedly held a knife to the victim's throat and ripped his necklace off him, and all three men involved allegeldy kicked and punched him.

Police arrested 18-year-olds Hector Flores, Jorden Maclur, and Tyler Noe. All three men are Wareham residents, according to the news release; it wasn't immediately clear if they had attorneys.

Flores is charged with armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of Class C drug. Maclur and Noe are both charged with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The incident was the result of "a possible drug meet up," police said.

"This was not a random incident and the parties involved are known to each other," police said in the statement.

The victim suffered minor injuries, according to police, and both the knife and necklace were recovered from the scene.

The incident is still under investigation.
