A wrong way driver on I-495 in Massachusetts will possibly face charges, according to state police.
Authorities say the driver, only identified as an 89-year-old Franklin woman, was driving southbound in a northbound lane near exit 17 in Franklin just before 5:30 a.m. Monday.
The driver, who was behind the wheel of a 2013 Honda Civic, is possibly facing charges because she was an immediate danger to other drivers, state police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
