Police Investigating Fatal Stabbing in Roxbury

An investigation is underway in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood after a fatal stabbing on Sunday morning.

Boston Police officials said they responded to a scene near Pierson Street and Massachusetts Avenue around 8:35 a.m. Sunday, where an adult male victim was discovered suffering from a stab wound.

The victim, identified Tuesday as 34-year-old Boston resident Ricardo Garcia, was transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests have been announced. The incident remains under investigation.
