Two men are in custody after they allegedly broke into a house in Douglas, Massachusetts, where a 15-year-old girl was home alone.
The teen called police around 1 p.m. Wednesday. Police say she stayed on the line as the men circled around the back and took a pry bar to the door.
"I think there's someone trying to get in the house," she said in the 911 call. "He keeps ringing the doorbell, and there's two people in the car."
She told police she believed the man had "something to break the door."
Police say they got there just as 28-year-old Mateusz Dymon of Webster and 60-year-old Joseph Walsh of Leominster broke through a window into the kitchen. The men were arrested after a brief struggle, according to police.
The men are due in court Thursday on charges of breaking and entering, larceny, malicious destruction of property and possession of burglarous tools.
