One man died in a car crash in Northborough, Massachusetts Sunday evening.
According to State Police, troopers responded to reports of a crash on I-290 westbound at the mile 17 marker in Northborough at 8:20 p.m. Sunday.
Upon arrival, a trooper found a 2016 Ford Ranger driven by a 38-year-old man from Stow had collided with a 2000 Ford pickup driven by a 30-year-old man from Johnston, Rhode Island.
The 38-year-old man was transported to UMass Worcester on Lake Avenue in cardiac arrest.
A preliminary investigation suggested that the man had a medical issue which caused the crash, police said.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital. His identity will be released Monday after his family has been notified.
The 30-year-old man had minor injuries.

The right lane was closed during the accident but was cleared up an hour later, police said.
