Police Search for Man Who Assaulted Woman in Dorchester

The Assault Occurred Monday Near The Cleveland Community Center

A woman was the victim of sexual assault on Monday morning, according to the Boston Police Department.

Officers responded to a call for a sexual assault by 11 Charles Street in Dorchester. A woman stated that a man had forcefully wrapped his arms around her as she walked on the foot path behind the Cleveland Community Center.

She was able to fight off the suspect and scream for help, getting the attention of neighbors as the man fled on foot towards Adams Street. The suspect is described as a white male in his late twenties or early thirties, between 5'6"-5'9" tall. He was seen wearing a black hoodie with a red inner lining in the hood, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
