Police Searching for Andover Burglary Suspect

Andover police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who is believed to be connected to a residential burglary.

According to police, they responded to a report of a burglary in progress on Andover Country Club Lane at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

The owners of the home were away, but using video surveillance they saw two men breaking into their house, police said.

Both suspects wore what appeared to be gray hooded sweatshirts.

They caused significant damage to the house, including dismantling the alarm system, police said.

The two suspects fled the scene on foot when police arrived. K-9 units, the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing and State Police units responded to the scene, as well as local police. They were unable, however, to locate the suspects.

Andover police obtained an image of one of the suspects from the surveillance video and are asking for the public's help identifying the man.
